[Song: Everything You Want by Vertical Horizon]
Am thinking about setting up a ficblog somewhere to put up the little vignettes that I write on occasion. Latest: two little ditties and the beginning of a *wince* Harry/PeterSpider-Manslashfanfic. -_-;;; Didn't want to write it, but the urge overcame me because I couldn't find one damn decent Harry/Peter fic out there. Don't even mention ff.net b/c that place is just downright frightening. *shudder* I did venture into the Spider-Man comic section and came out scarred for life. Of course, I've been scarred many times before from v. bad fanfics and healed, but not like this. So ficblog or not? I'm debating this point and if I do, I'll probably set it up tomorrow afternoon when it's a half-day of school.
Tomorrow is Victoria Day Weekend.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!
I'll be quiet now. ^_^

*sniff* I wanted to go to ISA. Right now, friends are watching lots of anime and having much fun. Am v. sad that I am missing it, but tomorrow is a bloody school day and I would have been chewed out by parents for making last-minute changes. Hate living in boonies.
Song above was the one that was played during the scene where Clark asks Chloe to the Spring Formal. It's my new obsession for this moment. ^_^ Smallville music so good.

Kuzuki Kakyou
You're Kakyou, meaning you look remarkably feline in appearance, and are very very uke. You're generally very angsty in behavior, almost disgustingly so, and despite your depressed features, you still manage to attract a lot of attention to yourself. A master at weaving dreamscapes, and seeing into the future inside them, you're a very important part of your social circle. But you need to stop moping so much over your lost "special" person.

A definitely apathetic day. Am trying to fill out applications for section editor for our school newspaper. D, my friend, is the editor, and thusly will become my "boss". Am also filling in application for the literary annual "magazine", friends are also the editors. Am probably not going to get the literary magazine thing, but I hope I have a good chance of getting section editor. *crosses fingers*

Meep! Sorry, birdy, can't come to ISA at all. Too much work and I'd probably fall asleep midway anyways b/c of too much work and not enough sleep tonight. (Of course, I could have had that finished if I had only not watched Smallville.)
Chibi!Lex: BLASPHEMY!
Chibi!Clark and Chibi!Whitney: *chime in* HERETIC!
*face smushed against wall from force of sound* Ookay. Not mentioning not watching Smallville ever again. Also, my friends would most definitely kill me. Not to mention I'd die from implied CLex visual deprivation. Withdrawal is not a pretty thing to go through.

Find your emotion!
Pretty true, actually. I may act intensely emotional most of the time, but things don't touch me to the core. Rarely have I felt overwhelming emotion, even though I may verbalize it strongly.
I'm completely down-to-earth!

You're more good than evil, but not by much. You've drank straight from the carton of milk in the refrigerator, and maybe kicked the neighbor's cat, but you're still good. Kinda.
Damnit! I should be more evil! Why aren't I more evil? *scribbles on to-do list* Must be more evil.

Lethe thinks that Ethan in the latest episode of QAF USA was stalkable. My verdict: How could anyone not? My friend, MF has to see him to believe me. She missed the episode (she always does) and she's disbelieving even w/ all my raving. I must find her a picture of him, but even that won't do him justice becaues his personality is that charming. ^_^
Must stop fangirl raving. Must must must.

Warning: Fangirl ravings ahead and spoilers for "Obscura", latest episode of Smallville.
Just finished watching Smallville. Pretty good episode, not as good as others, but still v. exciting. Best part: near the end when Clark's pitchforking hay in a delicious white t-shirt and blue jeans (not too snug, not too loose, perfect! ^^), looking like the poster boy for Shaggable American Farm Boys Who Need to Be Debauched and Chloe comes and he finally works up the nerve to ask her to the Spring Formal! Squeeeeeeeee!!! ^_____^ It's not CLex, but Clark/Chloe is still palatable and supportable. And the music during that scene was v. appropriate; I like it. ^_^
Whee! Off to Gilmore Girls! ^_^

A whole new meaning to Smallville. o_O Will never look at Bob Dole or Smallville the same ever again. Am terribly afraid fragile mind has been wrought terribly by this. Will go and hide in bed. Need sleep anyway.

LEAFS WON!!!! YESYESYES!!!! 3-0, YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! ^_^
Leafs won! Hurray! V. happy, however will probably get crushed by the Hurricanes when the Leafs go there on Thursday. They have no time for rest. *sigh* but still, am v. supportive and hope they will win and do their best!

So tired, but must finish paragraph. Why is it so hard to explain why I depicted a scene from "Lancelot & Elaine" through Lego instead of a conventional collage?
Chibi!Clark: Probably because of all Lego pr0n you saw from Ruaki's links in her blog.
How do I explain euphemistically that I felt inspired to do "Lancelot & Elaine" in Lego b/c I saw Lego pr0n and thought it was hilarious?
Chibi!Clark: I don't know. Because you're a sick, sick individual?
*pets him on the head* Call it a well-rounded sense of humour. Be nice or I'll deprive you of the company of Lex for a week. *eg*
Chibi!Clark: That's all right. I've got other Lexs to keep me company. *vbeg*
-_- Damn chibis get smarter everyday.
Chibi!Lex: *interjects* Or you're just getting a little denser everyday.
*flicks Chibi!Lex off shoulder with a finger* They also get cheekier everyday. -_-

People in your company think you are unreal, they are hallucinating. You are creativly inspiring aswell as you make people delirious and delusional. You make time appear distorted, colours appear brighter, sounds more sharper and things seem to change shape. Sometimes people are frightened by you and get scared of everything. You mess people up, one minute they could be laughing the next they are sobbing. Sometimes you disress people so much they try to commit suicide. When people have spent alot of time with you, they get a 'flashback', they could be on a train comming home from work and suddenly start mocking the bloke next to them who appears to have grown a long hairy snout like a rat. It's an ergh day. Ergh = relatively bad.
For some reason, whenever I listen to the song above, I always, always think it's so slashy. V. Harry/Peter to me. Or Green Goblin/Spiderman. I know, v. odd. (Someone write Harry/Peter Spiderman slash please? Please?)

Just finished watching QaF. So, so good, except it's getting increasingly like a soap opera. It's almost overly dramatic at times, but it's just so good.
The guy who plays Ethan in this episode...oh. my. god. So CUTE! Adorable to a fault and plays this utterly charming, sweet-tongued, gifted violinist in such a way that makes you wanna cuddle him. Of course, he hits on Justin constantly and you kind of want to pull Justin away from him b/c you know that he's going to do his best to break up Justin and Brian. Brian loves Justin and vice versa, except that their relationship is always undefined and rocky. Ethan would be a good experience for Justin, except that Justin's in love w/ Brian and this will put a strain on all relationships. That is not good. However, think future angst will be v.g. ^_^

Spoilers for Murder by Numbers
Watched Murder by Numbers. V.g. flick, however...it lacked something. It was really good; Ryan Gosling and Michael Pitt were truly excellent at portraying these twisted, misunderstood, amoral beings who wanted to prove themselves and managed to eke it out until they failed. These characters had so many facets, it's thrilling just to discuss them, much less watch them.
They're so human, but removed from humanity and they make mistakes, but have this twisted philosophy to try to be free and they fail because they're human. Freedom is the main theme in this movie, crapshit as it is with the other gratuitous things added in to give it a Hollywood gleam, and their attempts to attain it is incredible. Wrong, immoral, and abominable, but incredible nevertheless. They can't realize that the definition of freedom is relative, and they've only one interpretation of freedom, throwing off society's yoke by committing murder, but not realizing they never had true, complete, total freedom because society trained them to have certain responses, like revulsion towards killing another human being, and they can't overcome them completely. It's not possible because it's been trained into everyone. Of course, who says throwing off socially trained responses is actually freedom?
That philosophical discussion aside, I love Ryan Gosling now. I was rather skeptical of him portraying such a complex character at first because of his role in Breaker High, but I will never doubt him again because he's is just amazing at portraying Richard Haywood. He plays him on the surface as a casual player who's typical of your usual popular kid in high school with a devil-may-care attitude and vain appearance, but within, he builds layers and layers in Richard's character like pages in a book. He seemingly has everything, but everything is superficial as his appearance is. Same goes for Michael Pitt. Absolutely wonderful performance doing the tragic, pathetic, genius loner with a truly brilliant mind, but so desperate for attention and love or feelings of some sort.
I love the contrast between the characters. They seem completely different if you characterize them according to the stereotypes of high school, but inside, they're the same. At first, you think that Richard is manipulating Justin, but you realize that that without one another they are just pathetic people with sob stories, but put them together and you get an intense, complex relationship between two people whose situations are similar, high in society, but feeling beaten-down. I could go on forever about their characters because they're just so, so good.
Sandra Bullock...er, more secondary than anything. Typical characterization, tough cop with sad past, needs love interest to bring out her vulnerable side, etc. Whatever. A more serious and tragic version of Miss Congeniality.
Go see Murder by Numbers not for the whodunit part, but for those who that did it and how they did it.

WTF??? Barrichello allowed Schumacher to pass him on final lap just because Ferrari could get ahead in the championship? This is underhanded, sneaky, low-down and utterly unspeakable. FUCK FERRARI! They fucking stole first place from Barrichello, who is signed with Ferrari, so that M. Schumacher could win? How dare the team do that! They don't have a sense of honour for their own team, other teams or for the spirit of racing or the F1.
Hmph. Am not rooting for Ferrari and Michael Schumacher anymore. Am transferring support to Ralf and Williams. Do not want to watch corrupted F1 racing anymore.

Stupidity is this. They needed this to compete w/ Vanilla Coke.
Oh God, what else do they need? James Brown to endorse them, along w/ Britney "I'm a Virgin" Spears and Shakira?
And Britney Spears is so not a virgin. Her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, exposed her. In more ways than one. (Bloody boy band asshole who I'd dearly like to push into a pool of quick-dry cement)

Feel incredibly stupid. During rant about correct spelling yesterday, spelled grammar 'grammer'. V. embarrassed, since hase has posted short message about correct spelling of 'grammar'. *buries head under desk* Ironic humiliation of an unknowing hypocrite.
That humiliating thing aside, v. lazy today. Sky became dark before I realized it and highly suspect thoughts are being thought with a British accent. Watched Absolutely Fabulous, need more. Really, really want more. Eddy, Pats and Saff too funny.
FF.net suddenly down in middle of reading fic. WTF? Hatehatehate co-dependent relationship w/ website! Damnit! *kicks ff.net*
Will make french toast.

Oh God, I wish I drank heavily. Or get addicted to some sort of mind-numbing substance that can get me to forget about the crappy fanfiction that exists on the internet. *bangs head against wall* I was randomly browsing ff.net (am getting out of co-dependent relationship w/ it, but still loathe and despise it) and went into The Fast and Furious section.
Everything is het and almost everything is a Mary Sue with a girl joining the team from another city. These Mary Sues wouldn't know a Civic from a LanEvo or what a spoiler even if it bloody hit them on the head.
Hatehatehate Mary Sues. I'm not saying you can't write them, but don't bloody publish them if you can't write a decent plot with decent grammer, sentence structure and most of all, spelling! Plot/spelling/grammer = non-existence in most Mary Sues, except that handsome, male characters must, must must fall in love w/ them.
I think I need to find some slash. Or re-read my meagre collection of yaoi manga. Thank God for that...

^______^ Warm n' fuzzy right now! Just read Andrea's blog and went down to yesterday's and she watched Smallville too!
Yay! And Lethe, Andrea's friend, thinks I'm cool. Btw, Lethe, if you're reading, I think you're v. cool as well. ^__^ The picture in your blog cracked me up; Vash in pink is interesting. Cool blog, visit it. She likes yaoi/slash and also BmB and has, at the very least, visited Bishink. Thusly, she is v. cool by definition.
Rain is our friend when it comes to Eric Johnson. Is also our friend for Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum and...hell screw specifics, nearly every guy looks good wet. But especially Tom Welling. Don't believe me? Visit LexSlash's EyeCandy section and click on Tom Welling. A plethora of yummy Tom Welling pictures will pop up and go to one where he's wearing a sleeveless orange shirt. Then I dare you to say that he isn't hot wet. Hell, he's hot all the time (just look at his other pics). Except when he wears waaaaaaaayyyy too much blush in Smallville. Then he goes into faggy poncy mode a la Legolas.
Speaking of my favourite elf....
Legolas is my fancy! What's your fancy? Click here and tell the world!
^_^ My blatantly straight guy friends are going to kill me if they ever discover this. ^_^ Oh well, doesn't matter, have indulged in semi-excellent life so far.
Ooooohhhhh...wicked blog layout here. Definitely War of Genesis II/III or Magna Carta or something much much like it. I am so addicted to the art of the above. Many, many winamp skins and wallpapers.
Read this from Lethe:
"The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that the English language is as pure as a crib-house whore. It not only borrows words from other languages; it has on occasion chased other languages down dark alley-ways, clubbed them unconscious and rifled their pockets for new vocabulary."
- James Nicoll
V. true. Although I am major stickler for proper English, English is a bastard language and does the above in a manner that has been ignored. Essentialy, English is a mugger. It will probably get 5-15 for assault and robbery. ^^ (Law class...*gasp* over...taking...life.) Will use that as new email sig. *laughs*
Hunger pains. Must get bbq chicken.
Too lazy to walk down. Will sit at computer a little longer and read rest of CLex fic. ^_^ Have too many windows open.
Rented DVDs today: Metropolis, Emma, and episodes 1-12 of Absolutely Fabulous, hilarious Brit comedy. God, I love Brit comedies, they have a better sense of humour than we do. Monty Python can kick any American comedy's ass anyday!

[Theme music: Ninkou Latora from the Cirque du Soleil CD "Dralion"]
Sudden realization why Clark has "a crush" on Lana. Probably someone has come up w/ this before, but it hit me just now. He wants to do stuff for her and to support and help her in her times of need because he, in the spaceship amidst the meteors, indirectly caused the death of her parents. He feels guilty so he wants to do things for her, i.e. help her plan the Talon, and he translates this into attraction/love for her.
Not too idiotic, I hope. Dense, lovable Clark. *smacks* Such a guilt complex, he ought to be more mentally unstable with that personality that feels things very keenly and deeply, even though he doesn't pick up on things very quickly. Hello, Chloe anyone? (canon-wise) Or even better, Lex? (fanon)
