Whee! Bought lots of manga yesterday! ^_^ God Child (Count Cain) 2 + 3, Hana Kimi 17, Kare Kano 13, Fun Fun Factory 1, Never Give Up! 9 + 10, W Juliet 10, Love Hina 14, the list goes on. I also plowed my way through HtY 10-13 and Ribon 5-7. Lots of cute furoku. ^_^

Found Sogo's 10th floor to be v. well-stocked w/ manga. Martha said it sucked, but I was completely speechless when I saw it. It's a bloody amazing place, even if it is pretty deserted and takes a lot of escalators to get to. They carry Chara Comics. ^_^ 'Nuff said. Lots of shounen and shoujo manga there too.

Shopping today as well. Going to do a more thorough search of Mitsukoshi and Sogo today, buy a mug, look at watches, and maybe go to Esprit or edc.

Martha, get to HK quicker! We need to go to Sino and search out the third floor, back corner now! ^_^

Should probably mention the time up there is HK time.

Landed in HK six hours ago at 5 am. Please allow me to swear as much as possible from this point on. Oh my bloody fucking God! I hate planes and plane flights shouldn't exist! Changing planes at bloody 4 am is not fun and a lonely, desolated Vancouver airport at 3 am is not a nice place to be. -_- I wanted to disembowel the nauseatingly cheerful flight attendants, but they were probably just covering up their homicidal instincts with saccharine smiles while they gripped the teapots with white knuckles pondering whether to choose Chinese or English tea to hit you over the head with.

I hate Vanilla Sky. I hate Hart's War. I hate A Beautiful Mind. I was forced to watch those movies over and over again. I hate steaks that resist cutting. I hate potatoes with rubbery skins. I hate airplane food in general. I hate the scratchy blankets that they give you. I hate lines. I hate sitting in the same bloody seat for 20 hours straight. I hate flying.

I like the amount of Coke they give you. I like the cashews. I like sitting in big-ass business class seats that recline really far back and the foot rests that go up a lot so you're almost horizontal. I like the little personal tv screens. I like the fact that they showed Jamie Oliver and Nigella Bites. I like the coffee. I like Monsters, Inc. and Harry Potter, the two kid's movies they showed. I like that they turn off all the lights and let you sleep when you really really need to.

I haven't started shopping yet, but my first stop this afternoon is Causeway Bay, home of beloved Mitsukoshi where the manga section people know my name, my nationality, my family, and the school that I go to. And yes, they like me. A lot. ^_^

Finished FB. Sad. Tragic. V.g. Kisa, Hiro, Momiji = too cute for words. Want to huggle them all because they are irresistibly adorable. ^_^ Akito = sad and evil. Pathetic character, really. Shigure, Hatori, Yuki, Kyo = yummy. I like Kyo better than Yuki. Mrowr. ^_^

Just came back from Kitch's bday party. Fun! ^_^ Bowling then Jack Astor's. Met lots of new ppl, including Teresa, Carmen, Eileen, Marcia, Sohni, Gigi, Jeff "Tomatoes are vegetables", etc. the list goes on and on. I think 26 ppl were there...? Large large party, let's just say. Yoshi wore the bunny ears ^_~V and I've got a pic of it! Hope Teresa sends it soon...

Friends: Baibai! *hugs everyone* See you in August! ^_^ Miss you all! You all r0xx0r! I'll blog from HK for sure and find some sort of gift for everyone even though it isn't any special occasion!

I'm so bloody tired. I don't want to argue with my mum over trivial stuff like tomorrow. I still need to pack and I just want to watch the rest of FB in relative peace. I'm leaving all but one of my friends behind and I'm in HK until August 10th. HK looks less appetizing by the day. -_-

;_; I'm sad that I'm leaving behind my friends for two months. Oh well...will watch one or two more episodes of FB then off to sleep I will go.

Just finished watching FB episode 8. I wanted to cry so badly when I heard Hatori's story. Of course, it was injected with dramatism and sugariness, but it was so sad! ;_; Hatori...

Akito. Hm. Evil. So evil. Unhappy, but evil. And how did he become head of the clan? Hate him for singling out Yuki and making everyone in the Sohma family in need of major counseling.

Everyone, I repeat, everyone in the Sohma family clan (and Tohru) needs psychological help. Now. Probably should be made an emergency.

All FB fics 5uxx0r5. -_- I have not found one decent one. Don't even mention bloody, deity-forsaken ff.net. People don't know how to spell the word "heap". How hard is it to use the bloody spellchecker? Or start a fic in way that doesn't describe the bloody weather? -_-; The state of story-telling in the current day and age is descending rapidly to the pits. Anime isn't original anymore (i.e. same plot to the exact details over and over again), fantasy books pop up everywhere telling the same bloody story, etc.

Won't even mention movies. *shudder*

Fruits Basket completely r0xx0r5! Anime is absolutely blowing me away. I love it! I'm on my 5th episode, got all 26 of them to plow through, but I'm going to do it before I leave for HK on Tuesday! ^_^V Yosh!

I lent the manga to Kim and now I wanna read it really badly. ^_^; Doesn't matter, I'll just rent it in HK when I feel like it, read it in August when Kim returns it to me or read fanfics.

*drools* Love love love Yuki, Kyou, and Shigure. Love them so much. *hugs Chibi!Yuki, Chibi!Kyou and Chibi!Shigure*

I dislike Yuki's voice and character design though. I thought it'd be more whispery, just a bit lower and deeper, and hint more at his secretive nature. He just sounds like a bloody woman. He looks a little less detailed and plainer in the anime and his dress sense, dear God, someone get him into more black and less mandarin collars!

Kyou's seiyuu is perfect. Absolutely fantastic. Character design is good too, choice of clothing is excellent, except he always wears the same cargo pants. But in the first episode, black v-neck t-shirt and pants? Mmmmm...delicious. ^_^ And he knows how to cook! Utterly charming! Yay!

Shigure's seiyuu is just a bit too young. I imagined him to have a slightly more mature voice. However, the voice is v.g., although at times, to risk sounding rude, gay. Flamingly gay. Character design is perfect, hair curls around his face in the most gorgeous manner and his yukata looks good on him. And he's completely priceless. He knows exactly what buttons to push and with the exact amount of force to provoke the desired reaction. He is a master of manipulation and I bow down to him.

Tohru's seiyuu. *wince* Incredibly high. It seems like the current fashion to employ seiyuu with high voices to sound like little girls nowadays. You can practically get epilepsy or strokes when listening to them. I hope they start hiring more alto seiyuu soon to spare us the future ear appointments we'll have to arrange about our shattered eardrums. Tohru also has a "dead parents" complex. -_-# She needs to see a shrink, like Lana from SV. However, it's only been a month, so it's, in a way, excusable.
